KARAMEHMEDOVIC

If anyone knows anything about Ragib Kararamehmedovic, who migrated to the United States in 1907, and his daughter Cerima alias Olga, born Kararamehmedovic  married Avdic, please contact me through THIS SITE. Especially if I would be lucky to have visited my page by late Olga's descendants, her son and grandchildren, or their friends and acquaintances who would make them alert to my appeal.

Please note that some information, especially about for years, are likely to be corrected. It took me time to it come to me from ancient times, from a child's memories, the mourning for the death of a boy-a cousin who you see on the photograph, so that already somewhat is corrected. I am not, in fact, certain as to his name. It is possible that lat. Olga named her son Enver after her early deceased brother. Etc.

But one thing I know for sure. I'm in the identical patent leather shoes, kind Cerima-Olga wears in the photograph, ran through my childhood. As long as a cobbler, to who I have once at my mom's instructions took them to be repaired, did not say that they are stolen. In the years after the second World War, few from among children had the  shoes, let alone painted!

Cica-Mica the story finished! It was in fact the time after the Second World War - lack of everything, except pain and shortages among the elder, and angelic carelessness among children who received all one needs from the "aunt from America". That aunt, who became in those days the history of dear to us, and now dead, Yugoslavia, almost mythical, universal figure of a fairy-the saviour.
